  The bread is very good. My Parisian friend who sort of hates everything (but likes shock top?!?) said the bread is pretty decent which is high praise coming from him. It's always very busy here like even on a weekday. I'm not a huge fan of their other prepared foods. It's good but nothing that I've ever craved. The guy sitting next to me said it was the best meal he ever had since he moved here from Ontario so there is that. It's a good place to listen to other people's conversations.

  The kitchenware items are simply delightful, the bread is artfully made, and the pastries are extremely delectable.

  Delicious food and really awesome atmosphere! It can get busy but if you’re willing to share a table with someone, it’s very cozy! I recommend the quiche Florentine!

  Even something as mundane as a BLT can be elevated through the addition of goat cheese and avocado, not to mention perfectly toasted crusty bread made in the kitchen.

  If you want a fix of France, this is the place. Only down side is wall to wall people.

  Everything I've ever had here has been excellent! They have fantastic espresso, and I can't ever manage to leave with out trying their baked goods. Friendly staff and a family-friendly atmosphere. I only wish I lived closer to Batard, although my bank account is probably happy that I don't!

  And if you think you've had quiche before. Try the one here. The egg is light and slightly creamy!!! If this is the real thing, other versions are a sham.

  A great get away, with a touch of French ambiance! The food is delicious! You can taste the care and attention to detail. Best beef dip I've eaten! Had a wonderful mushroom soup with toast... love that they give you butter! A raspberry flan and fruit tart -dessert perfection! Only problem was I ran out of stomach:(
