  Emma is amazing! She knows what to do with my insanely thick hair and helped me grow out a pixie without it ever looking like a "growing out" haircut. I've had other people in the past as well, and I've never had a bad experience. 5 stars!

  I am one of those people who are more afraid of hair dressers than dentists. So you can imagine I was a bit wary stepping into East Vanity Parlour, even after reading about 20 incredible reviews. My hair dresser was Shimona and I can say she was like the Mother Theresa of the hair world ( Maybe a more edgier tattooed version). She made me feel right at home and assured that I was not going to leave with a bowl cut. I found her to be attentive, spot on with pricing, and amazing with colour. She was incredibly personable and I honestly felt like I was having a laugh with an old friend. It has been over two weeks since I had my hair done and I can truly say I still feel like a million bucks. For all you people with salon phobias she is your gal.

  It was easy to get an appointment. I liked my haircut, had a great time, and thought the price was fair. I'd go back.

  The people are friendly. My first visit to Demi. I have to say that the haircut looked 1000 miles away from the photo. The cut wasn’t blended. Just before it was done I stated I hated it! I then sat for an additional hour being snipped to death. I paid my $70 and left feeling livid. Looks awful. Kind of Demi to offer further repairs, but I don’t have any hair left to remodel.
