  Grateful for this fat-friendly shop. Having sized out of MEC gear, I was heartened by the website's note about cyclists coming in all sizes and the request to be told if they don't carry your size. It was enough to brave the store and to ask questions about sizes, which is usually a nightmare - at clothing and bike shops alike.

  Super kind folks, fair prices and quality service. Been to lots of shops around town and they always stand out for their personal approach. They dropped off my bike at my work once it was done AND fixed my busted bell as an added bonus!

  The staff are knowledgeable and don't upsell when I need parts or repairs. They have good parts and everything is reasonably priced. The one potential downside is that the shop is small, so they may not have less common stock on hand, and they can be crowded on the weekend.

  They didn't have anything above a 1X in stock, but the staff offered a lot of options and were super supportive. Can't say how much I appreciated the experience as someone who's been having a hard time getting back into riding.
