Cafeteria style diner, turkey reuben was dripping wet with sauerkraut juice to point where bread was falling apart, yuck. Would have sent it back except I thought if this was there level of presentation not my job to teach them how to build a sandwich.Coconut green curry soup with 6 small pieces of cod in huge bowl of coconut milk, full size kale leaves were fun to slurp up. Good thing I don't mind making a mess and can eat like a cow. Coffee Americano was week no flavour, I make a french press @ home every morning better by far, had it with a pain au chocolate if it wasn't frozen in middle might have been ok. Back to the Gastown Spaghetti Factory for lunch next time in Van, same price twice the food and experience...Sad.

I've been here twice, both times for the hot chocolate festival. The Lady in Pink I wasnt too fond of and they also forgot to give me my shortbread cookie, but the Wascally Wabbit was quite good, and I typically dont like carrots. I've never tried their food, but their baked goods do look quite appetizing. The main reason why I dont come here often is because they are very expensive. For a very small cup of hot chocolate plus a small cheeseball truffle, it costs $8.00. In my opinion, the price point isn't worth it.

We had the chance to try the feature from the Hot Chocolate Festival ans seriously I was surprised. A Carrot cake hot chocolate with Valrhona Dubey 32% blonde chocolate, warm spice and carrot crema.

Came here for a takeout coffee and light breakfast. Appreciate its short but excellent coffee selection. Pastries are delicious as well. Lots of people walking in and out. Relatively efficient and fast service despite nonstop flow of customers.

I wanted to like this spot, but it has table side service and you need to get seated which I found odd for a small coffee/pastry shop. The macarons whole had nice colour, were a little too sweet. The London fog being my favorite and it looked great.
