  I wish I could rate them a ZERO>>>>Worlds worst. PLEASE never use them. you will regret it. after finding out they did not have car for us we were up graded to a another car for twice the price and got a 250 bill for a chip in window after returning car even when I had pictures before I picked up car with a chip in window. they did not want to see the pictures.. what a scam. this is the first time I have ever rated something, but thought I would let you know. this placed should be closed down FOREVER... GOD PLEASE DONT USE THEM!!!!

  I rented their car for one day for a personal business trip at around 8:30am, Saturday, January 27, 2018. When I picked up the car, they didn't have any employees to go through any issues with the car, or walked me through the procedure. They just handed me a piece of paper and car's keys without explaining anything. The car had some minor scratches but hardly noticeable since it was parked in the basement parking lot. However, everything was marked in good conditions. I drove off naively without much concern. My trip went smoothly no accident, even though it was raining and snowing in some areas on the road that day. Upon the return of the car, they billed me an additional $210 plus $30 administration fee for windshield chip, besides the $35 for the rental. There was nothing wrong on my trip, and it was a short one day trip. I returned the car at 11:30pm within the same day. I did not understand what could possibly damage the windshield besides the windshield wiper that I had to use due to rain/snow. If so, they would have notified me that the windshield wiper was ineffective, and I shouldn't drive under rain or snow condition.

  I was slightly reluctant to book with Thrifty after some of the Google reviews I read, but I decided to take the risk as the price was much better than others. So we booked for a 2-week break from Vancouver which we're just returned from, and we were perfectly happy. When we arrived everything was exactly as we'd booked, the staff were quick and friendly and there were no suggestions of extra costs or damage charges. I'll happily use them again

  I regretted not to look at reviews before checking google reviews. I find it to be outrageous how they trick people and charge them excessively through legal contract. It's literally robbing without putting a gun in your head to pull cash out of your wallet. I reported them to BBB and request for an investigation. Seriously!! Stay away!!
