    Love the home decor and overall good quality products. However nothing is ever in stock and they don’t email or text you when ordered items arrive for pickup. Not very coordinated with US operations in general so most items not available. Would be nice if they could get US items off website for you (one company feel)

    Worst customer service! Please don’t act so stuck up. This type of rudeness transcends through the entire staff. Trust me your customers feel it and you’re giving west elm a bad name. We tried to arrange for a consultation and we were told to email katie for an appointment when Katie was right there. Why couldn’t we have booked something while we were there? Maybe this could’ve been understandable had they said it better but RUDE.

    Never had such a bad shopping experience before. I ordered several things at the mid of August, the sales staff told me it will takes 4-6 weeks for all of my things to come, and they will call me to schedule a delivery. After waiting for nearly 8 weeks, i have to call the store myself to check my order. They told me i have a back order and it won't be here until December, after double check they told me the last thing will be here before November, so I have to wait for another couple weeks. It takes 10 weeks to have everything ready, and ANOTHER 3 weeks to waiting for the delivery because they are fully booked( the delivery price depends on how many boxes you will have. They told me they have next day delivery company so no worry about the time...).

    One more thing, if you order a thing which is not available at store, you need to pay a 15% restock fee if you want to return it.(no charge if return within 7 days of purchase) That is ridiculous because EVERYTHING not in stock will be regarded as an "special order". if the furniture do not fit your home or if your bf do not like it, then you have to pay 15% to return it. The fact is that they have VERY LIMITED thing in stock. So if you find something online or at pictures are not available at their store, DO NOT buy it because you will never know if you gonna keep it or not!

    I have always shopped here and have purchased so much from this store but I think I’m going to avoid this place if I can. The customer service has always been hit and miss. There was a promotion on their website that only applied to instore purchases (including markdowns) but the store didn’t honour it even though I confirmed with their head office customer service, who suggested I show the store manager a screen shot of the website and get my discount. The manager wouldn’t listen to me and was trying to argue with me. I’d rather pay the shipping fee and shop online. Their online customer service is much better. The one star applies specifically to this store.
