  I arrived for a 10am appointment and the store was closed. I waited in the cold for 15 mins before the owners finally showed up. Despite being late, they didn't apologize or even ask me how long I had waited. My crochet braids cost $150 and it took only 2.5hrs to do, which was completely overpriced. I had gotten a previous more complicated hairstyle at the same place for $90. There is no logic to the pricing. WORST OF ALL. A day later my crochet braids started to unravel. I called the store and they told me that they were busy and should stop by in a few days. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. I'm going to have to redo the crochet myself. Avoid this place at all costs.

  EDIT: The owner called me offering to redo the hair. She did not apologize but made excuses. She said they were 5 mins late, not 15. Also, claimed that the reason the hair unraveled is cos of the hair I brought. Freetress Presto Curl is a popular good quality brand that's used around the world (see pics on google and youtube). If millions of people can use it for crochet, I'm not sure why their store can't. I purchased 1 pack of hair from their store, that also unraveled less than 24 hrs later. She had no explanation for that.

  Terrible! I called on 2 occasions to enquire about the cost of first time dreadlocks. First time I was asked to go there so they see the length of my hair, was told it would cost about $140, fine! Then called to make an appointment for the second time, went there and was told price would be $150 including washing and blow drying, which was okay. Doing my hair took about 5 hours, also bare in mind that the girl who was doing it would stop to attend to other customers, but that's not the problem, the main problem is that at the end of the day, I was charged $180 simply because doing my hair took longer than they expected. How is that even possible? Why wasn't I informed in the first place? Terrible experience for a first customer. Other than that, Hanna and Crystal were great!

  Awesome experience. Place is always warm and friendly. They even remember me from 6months ago! Quick and fast service and superb prices. Took 45 mins and was $80 including tip.

  Terrible indeed!. The guy at the store is quite unprofessional and inexperienced. I have been there twice only to be disappointed with unpropotional hair cut on both sides of my head. I Literally looked like a clown when he was done! He also has a habit of taking calls quite frequently while doing your haircut, who does that? And why dont you accept when a customer points out a mistake you are making on his/her hair? I had to look for a different store to mend my spoiled hair cut, NKT!
