  Their walkin storefront allows better quality control, however you must still read the ingredients carefully: often their advertised vegan dish will contain egg.

  First week they were a no show for a delivery (did not deliver on a day they said they were), which left me starving while waiting for the delivery and left me 2 days without planned meals, since they weren't willing to bring me any meals during those two days, even though they were the ones that messed up.

  so i got my first delivery bag with 3 days portion, which including altogether 4 meals. when i opened my bag , i was sooo WOW .

  I am disappointed at any company that advertises something they do not follow through on. Cod and chicken are not vegetarian. Egg and cheese are not vegan. Don't advertise non-omnivore services if you cannot follow through.

  The fact that they're not willing to give me some sort of written explanation as to what they are billing me for, when the bill is not equal to the pre agreed 7 day plan, I find is pure laziness on their side and together with the no delivery, I find them to be quite unprofessional and disorganized.

  i am now considering to switch to 5 days plan so that i wont need to cook from Monday to Friday. and my boyfriend is very temping now when he saw my lunch box ! i wish they will have some program in the future for small family ( 2 people ) like us. thanks "Eat your Cake " you guys are awesome !!!

  for the price i was paying which is around CAD110, the portion and the quality of food exceeded my expectation ! All the box labelled clearly the ingredient and the method of intake ( serve hot or cold) if you are in special diet, you can see the note they might to remark what is avoided. I am on my Keto and my food do not contain any food that i can't have. And the quality of meat is very good as well. i have a big piece of Salmon as 1st day dinner and i can't complaint ! it is just so good !

  I get my first delivery on sunday and the driver Lady was very sweet, she contact me in the morning to confirm the schedule with me and again an hour before the delivery, which give me enough time to do what need to be done on Sunday instead of seating at home and waiting . She was also very polite and sweet, she looks like she enjoy her job which leave me a very good impression to this company - i always believe if the worker love the company , it is only because it is a good one and they work they do is meaningful!

  My husband and I are both on the 4 day meat-eater weight-loss plan. We are incredibly impressed with how flavorful the food is. All of the dinners are just really, really tasty! And, the portions are great. We are trying low-carb and the zucchini spaghetti is just like real spaghetti, we don't miss past at all. The service is great, and they've handled any requests very professionally. It's so much fun to unpack the bags twice a week and see what new and exciting items are included; they are continually switching it up, and we never get bored. Thank you, Eat Your Cake!

  I also had to reschedule my weekend meals, with a weeks notice, since I was going away for the weekend and they were not willing to give me an itemized receipt (some sort of payment breakdown explanation) based on my changed meal plan due to the weekend cancellation. They said they have "adjusted" next weeks payment, although, when asked, they were not willing to explain, in writing, how it was adjusted. They just gave me a number. Pretty basic, if you charge someone for something, you need to either give a bill in advance or a receipt after listing what the person paid for. They said they "don't do that", which means, if I don't have a itemized record, some sort of explanation, then there's too much room for them to just make up numbers.

  Their customer service is amazing, their CS - Rick was being so helpful and answered all my questions from the email, he even send me a peek of the menu upcoming which leave me very hungry and excited .

  I wanted to like these guys. If you are omnivore they may be alright but are not attentive enough to dietary choices they say they offer. I trialled them for 4-5 weeks as a vegan: every delivery contained at least two dishes with either egg or cheese. Twice I was given cod, and once chicken. They never offered substitutions, only an additional meal next delivery ... which would often be inaccurate again.
