  Always have cider, always reasonably priced drinks, and though it's not always open (or maybe not at all anymore?), it's great to take a break from the floor and watch the band from the upstairs balcony.

  Audio Speakers are high end, they don't blow your ears up! even if you are beside them. Great staff, helpful, especially of you are looking to rent out the place. Price of tickets vary venue to venue but it has been reasonable. Great venue to watch local and upcoming artists especially for hip hop.

  One of my favourite live music venues in Vancouver - lots of seats in the back half of the room for people who just want to relax. Cash bar.

  The Rickshaw is grungy, loud, and full of beer. It's the place to go to see heavy music in Vancouver. DTES isn't as scary as everyone makes it out to be. The configuration inside is perfect for moshing, standing, OR sitting.
