VERY interesting and detailed. The fact that this museum was the old Coroner's Office, made it a little creepy for me. Not at all a complaint. The realism of this self - conducted tour is quite amazing for the size that it is. They have put a lot of information intro a relatively small space. Interactive centres and pop up presentations. Am enjoyable museum experience. They're open from 9am to 6pm Mon. To Fri. If you're walking around by Main and Burrard, stop in.

A very unique and interesting museum. Although a notably small operation of dedicated staff, the quality of artifacts and knowledge is not lost amongst the clutter and scale. There is a lot of cool things to see from pictures to drugs to weapons (both police and criminal variety), and if you are interested on those merits you won't be disappointed although it will be a short stay. However going beyond the surface level you will find a lot of rich local history, a vast wealth of education on police and coroner procedure, and some interesting tidbits about Vancouver and the men and women that made up it's police and coroner's service. On that note it was quite the surprise to see how much was there on coroner's and autopsies, and I wish there was a way to make that more evident to those curious about the museum.

I generally like museums, but I found this one too small. We were there on a hot day, and the air was stale, smelled and it was very hot inside. They don't have air conditioning. I suppose that is part of the authentic feeling as it is located in an old police building, but it was an unpleasant experience.

We arrived there by public transport, and sadly, the surrounding area is full of homeless people.

The area this is located in is SUPER sketchy - but the museum was a pleasant surprise. It was smaller but it wasn't to expensive and the exhibits were really interesting. But yeah definitely lock your cars before you leave - the entire area is filled - and I mean filled - with druggies and homeless people. The museum is right by a police station though and there are security cameras and cops all around so you are pretty safe. Even braving the dangers of *gasp* that part of town I would say this museum was a blast. The gift shop is nonexistent though so if you are looking for a police patch or t shirt you'll need to go elsewhere
