Great food, love the hashbrowns with truffle oil! Iced chocolate milk is really good, not too sweet! Our server was amazing (and she had an awesome space toast necklace!). They're always busy, both Hastings and Broadway locations always have a line by their doors. Their E Hastings location is soon moving a few blocks away (there was a sign on the table when we went there in late Oct '17), might better check it before you go.

The new location is lovely! And the food continues to be worth the wait. Love the truffle lemon hashbrowns. And the eggs are always done to perfection. Also like being able to 'build' my own eggs benny, with avocado and bacon.

The wait is ridiculously long for this place. I suspect the food reviews are so enthusiastic because people are starving by the time they get served! I found the seating (hunched at the window) and service pretty disappointing after waiting over an hour. The menu is in the style of customization but really it's just lots of ways to make you spend more. A fairly basic eggs benedict with potatoes ends up being $20. I love breakfast but the food really isn't even that good. Lastly, lemon truffle is an overpowering flavour and gets pretty old after a few bites. There's lots of options for everything else but if you want potatoes that's your only choice of flavour, which we found odd. I could say more - TLDR; don't believe the hype.

My son took us there today for brunch, what a nice selection of options. The food was very good and enough to satisfy. Lattes where not as good as platform 7 but they tried. The server was a very polite young lady as for the price of the entire meal I don't know but the menu indicated reasonable prices. Yes. We will go again.

Used to be a 5 * for me. The new breaded chicken is not as good as it used to be. Staff is friendly and attentive. Hope they go back to the old recipe. Try the chicken and French toast. The eggs Benedict is still great.
