Recently went to see the Chinese Lantern Festival, which was beautiful, but unfortunately very poorly organized with the tickets leading to an hour line up to wait with only one ticket booth open. As you would expect with the PNE food with mini donuts etc, but make sure you bring cash as done vendors don’t take cards.. otherwise great!!

Best PNE yet!! (I've only been to the last three mind you)

"The PNE was so much better when I was a kid". I hear that all the time and have been guilty of saying that myself. Although every year the PNE seems to have a little less allure, many things have improved since I was young. Better food quality and variety. More and better live music and other entertainment. And this year - finally - you can buy beer (even craft beer!) and wine from many different vendors AND ACTUALLY WALK AROUND THE FAIRGROUNDS WITH IT. Welcome to the 21st century! What's missing from the PNE though is any of the magic or sense of wonder that it seemed to have in the 70's and 80's. Sad.

Went to see the Chinese lantern festival and it was disappointing. They had a few nice big displays but the rest were ok. I was expecting it to be really big based on the website description but it wasn't. I was expecting some Asian food and not hit dogs, pizzas etc. Don't think I will be going again. I'll be going for the PNE for sure.

Would like to see better variation in food as usual and some new events, but it was a good PNE this year for me.

Went for the Hobiyee event! The building was decent clean. But maybe they should add another bathroom?

The live band performances were really fun and ribs were amazing once again.

Let me elaborate, this year those with viable ID could get a wristband and be allowed to drink beer or coolers CASUALLY everywhere! *except playgrounds mostly
