i found this little cozy shop one day during a visit to the island, and out of curiosity i went in to check it out. Initially i thought the shop was just an ordinary tourist souvenir shop . There were some unique decorations ,but out of my surprise there were an art gallary on the second floor! And Wow, fascinating and breathe-taking paintings of vancouver really caught my attention ! The staff were very welcoming and explained to me about how these paintings are being made. I end up buying one home since the price was decent and now it is hanging peacefully in my living room.

I called once to ask about some of the big photos of Vancouver they have, and young man on the phone told me he was busy, and had to each his lunch! Quite rude to be honest! A month or so later, when I was visiting Granville Island, I decided to check it out as I used to live in Vancouver and the large panoramic photos of Vancouver look fantastic. - and while they were impressive, you really have to take a look at another gallery on Granville island (right along the water, near the Seabus) which has an even better selection - I forget the name, blue ocean, or seas?. So make sure you check out both locations - I ended up getting mine from the other location, and the overall sharpness of the image seems to be much better and the photographer is an international award winning photographer. I'm very happy with it on my wall, and it reminds me of my favorite city :)
