  Don't be put off by it's location in the Four Seasons hotel Vancouver. Even though it is in a large, tall ceiling room, YEW pulls off a cozy, comfortable feel and atmosphere. Service was relaxed. The wait staff were attentive and well informed regarding the menu. Tried the Calamari appetizer which was not the usual deep fried variety - simply amazing - and the Halibut which was perfectly cooked and well presented. Next time back, I will try some of the featured cocktails.

  A good restaurant, the food is good and the service is fine, and it has a nice ambience, but I am left with a definite feeling that one has not received value for money compared to other high end restaurants nearby. The menu is quite disjointed and needs some attention for a better flow. I recommend the crab cakes, scallops, sablefish, green forest.

  What a fantastic place! I went there with my wife during dine out for one of our usual forays into somewhere interesting and new. Yew Seafood did not disappoint! Lovely ambience and our server David was fantastic, bringing some very well-thought-out selections of wine as we were not interested in some of the pairings. I can't wait to go back again to take a look at the full menu!

  Beautiful environment, location and restaurant. Ordered a few seafood items and the waiter was so attentive and helpful in providing modifications and explaining the dishes to us. Food was very flavorful and cooked to perfection. Desserts are so unique! It's a higher end place, so expect to pay $ but a very nice experience.

  This is one of my go-to venues. Great atmosphere for late afternoon drinks. Classy, busy and nicely decorated. Great service in the lounge. Central location is a bonus.
