  I was floored. Any other salon would have shoved any kind of pricey product on me, but Calisa knew that it might be a process to find what works for me now and made me feel very good about coming back. I know now that my hair is in excellent hands. Zennkai won me over, thanks Calisa! I am very glad I stopped by.

  Retail side review: Good selection of hair care products. Super unhelpful and unwelcoming staff :s. I'm sure everyone would appreciate less attitude when asking for help.

  I just moved to Vancouver from Ontario and as much as I've enjoyed the change, my hair hasn't. I stopped into Zennkai on W. 4th earlier tonight and explained my problem to Calisa at the front desk. She immediately said 'I want you to try some samples' and gave me shampoo, conditioner, leave-in, thermal spray and curl enhancer. She told me to see how the samples took to my hair and to come back.

  Worst customer service ever. I called at 9am and made an appointment for a blow out at 330pm. At that time I told the receptionist I can come earlier if 3:30 does not work but can not come any later than that. She said no 3:30 is perfect and booked me. At 1pm I get a call saying sorry we booked a color correction and we can no longer take you at 3:30 you have to come later. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE and no regard for the clients time. DO NOT GO HERE!
