  The best hotel. Right in the middle of West End, super friendly staff and big rooms with full kitchens. Stayed for 10 days with a seven year old and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

  As for the room, I am astonished at the size of it. The bed is absolutely huge, excellent TV with loads of channels (and an actual cable box - it's just like your TV at home). There are USB ports and power outlets on both bedside tables, and a serious surge protector on the desk. There's also a balcony, but seeing as how it is raining, it is not getting much use. The room has a small dining room - a table with two chairs - located next to the kitchen. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, sink, stove/oven, and microwave. In addition to that, there are plates, mugs, pots, and pans for you to use. I know I have written quite a bit about the room, and it's just because it's so impressive. Parking is available on-site, but it looks as though it is limited given the number of rooms.

  Rooms are clean and great. Prices are very reasonable. Staff are helpful and friendly. Location is close to many good restaurants. Will stay again in the future.

  Great location in Davie Village area. Some people complained that it's a bit loud, but it's pretty much what you would expect being nearby a street with nightlife in the middle of the city. The parking was convenient although a bit tight. We were upgraded to a huge suite with a kitchen and large living area. The space was clean and comfortable. We didn't partake in the breakfast but it's a waffle station plus a variety of pastries and fruit - nothing fancy. If you want yogurt, the front desk sells it for $0.50.

  Finally, the staff with whom I interacted were superlative. Extremely courteous, hospitable, and knowledgeable about the area. I will definitely stay here again.

  I'm extremely impressed with Sunset Inn & Suites. I didn't really know what to expect about the location, as I'd never been to Vancouver before. The location is fantastic, very close to many attractions in the city centre.
